According to the statement, released this Tuesday by the Sputnik news agency, exports of Russian-manufactured iron and steel to Brazil managed to approach the maximum figure reached in June 2021, when they amounted to 95.1 million dollars.
Russia was the second largest supplier of metal to Brazil, behind China, which sells 187.4 million dollars. Third place corresponded to Germany, with 34 million dollars, which represented a drop of 10.5 percent in annual terms.
Moreover, Russian titanium exports to Brazil also multiplied by three in July compared to the previous month, totaling 1.25 million dollars, four times more than in 2023.
The United States remains the main supplier of titanium to Brazil in July, with 3.5 million dollars, followed by Russia, which displaced France ($907,400). They are followed by Great Britain ($757,400) and China ($722,800).
