DPRK denies that U.S.-South Korea-Japan alliance is Biden’s success

Pyongyang, Aug 13 (Prensa Latina) The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) refuted today that the U.S.-South Korea-Japan trilateral alliance is a success of President Joe Biden's diplomacy for the Indo-Pacific, especially with regard to this country.

According to the state-run KCNA news agency, all that the US president’s hostile policy has achieved -as before his predecessors- is to make the DPRK increase its nuclear arsenal as part of the strengthening of its defensive deterrence system.

The media thus disqualified an article published jointly in The Washington Post by Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan on the “tremendous results” of Biden’s Indo-Pacific strategy.

The strengthening of tripartite cooperation in the security sphere that the U.S. is so proud of did not bring any benefit to Japan nor the Republic of Korea, but rather turned the inhabitants of these lackey countries into cannon fodder for a nuclear war, he asserted.

KCNA further asserted that “the reckless expansion of the U.S.-led nuclear-based military bloc destroys the balance of power in the region and will only provoke a strong reaction from the independent countries possessing the nuclear device.”
