To the question “Do you have doubts about the election results of July 28?” conducted by the polling firm Hinterlaces between July 31st and August 9th, only six percent of respondents admitted distrusting the CNE or the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ).
On the other hand, four percent said they preferred to wait for the results of the TSJ as part of the dispute presented by Maduro, which entered on Saturday the expert opinion phase of all the documentation provided by the former candidates and political parties participating in those elections.
Another 26 percent indicated that they wanted to wait for the publication of the electoral records by the Electoral Branch.
The national survey indicated that 51 percent of Venezuelans voted for Maduro. In comparison, 33 percent did so for the representative of the opposition Democratic Unitary Platform, Edmundo González, while four percent said they had voted for the rest of the eight candidates.
When asked: “Is Maduro the main promoter of dialogue in the country?”, 24 percent said they strongly agreed, 33 agreed, 14 disagreed, five strongly disagreed and another 24 percent did not express themselves either in favor or against.
