Moscow, Aug 11 (Prensa Latina) The Russian Commissioner for Human Rights Tatiana Moskalkova requested on Sunday the UN to condemn the terror unleashed by Ukraine with an armed incursion in Kursk province.

“Thousands of civilians have been affected by the brutal attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Kursk province, so I appealed to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, demanding that the official condemn such actions and take measures,” Moskalkova posted on Telegram.

The Russian commissioner expressed confidence that the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (UNHCHR) will include in its next briefing, likely to be released in September, the information provided by Russia.

The head of the Russian General Staff Valery Gerasimov assured on Wednesday that Russian forces stopped an offensive mounted by up to 1,000 Ukrainian military on the morning of August 6 to occupy territories in the Kursk province.
