Pres. Maduro spurs to strengthen communal power against coup attempt (+Photo)

Caracas, Aug 9 (Prensa Latina) Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro asserted on Thursday that the best vaccine against the cybernetic, fascist, and criminal coup attempt is to strengthen communal power in the country.

Upon receiving at the Miraflores Palace, the seat of the Government, the communal farmers, and social movements from all over the nation in the march for peace, the head of State praised this sector as part of a true transformation of the Bolivarian Revolution.

Maduro stated that where there is a strengthened commune and a strengthened communal council “fascism does not arrive there.”

The leader pointed out that true communal and direct democracy is built by consolidating grassroots leadership and the capacity for self-government.

“People is the time for courage and combat, fascists won’t be able to defeat the patriotic people,” Maduro assured, and expressed that now it is time to “move forward, we have a lot of work to do.”

In that regard, the president reaffirmed the celebration of consultative elections on August 25 for the 4,500 communal circuits of the country, which will contribute to reducing the bureaucracy of the ministries, “it is a revolution within the revolution, to carry out the changes that Venezuela needs,” he affirmed.

The head of State denounced that the far right-wing did not prepare an electoral movement, but a fascist criminal organization and he announced that more than 2,400 members have been arrested so far, all of them belonging to that organization self-proclaimed as tiny commands.

There was an ambush against peace and a fascist campaign to intimidate the people, all set up to attempt a cybernetic coup, he indicated.

It was a coup d’état of the world’s far right-wing, of the technological empire, “to steal our sovereignty and the right to the future of the Venezuelan people.”

Maduro pointed out that the Bolivarian Republic “is today under cyber-attack on social networks to poison the minds of the people” noting that from there, a call was made to kill members of the armed forces, the Chavistas, so that the people would be paralyzed with terror.

In this sense, he announced that the National Telecommunications Commission decided to take out of circulation for 10 days, the social network X, “so that it may present its statute and establish the definitive administrative measure.”

“Enough of trying to sow violence, hatred, of trying to attack Venezuela from abroad, we have to defeat the fascist and criminal cybernetic coup d’état,” Maduro stressed.
