Lately, media outlets reported that members of LLA visited Alfredo Astiz, Raul Guglielminetti, Carlos Suarez’s son, Antonio Pernias, and Adolfo Donda, among others, tried and imprisoned for kidnapping, torturing, murdering and disappearing thousands of people, including children.
The visit was strongly criticized by unions, politicians, legislators and former President Cristina Fernandez, who warned of the intentions of filing an appeal for their release.
After that event, the lawmaker of Union for the Homeland Gisela Marziotta presented a draft resolution to expel Beltran Benedit, Guillermo Montenegro, Alida Ferreyra, Lourdes Arrieta, Maria Fernanda Araujo, and Rocio Bonacci, all members of LLA, the formation led by President Javier Milei.
27 legislators support Marziotta’s proposal which joins another one that raises the need to create a commission to investigate what happened.
