The two foreign ministers exchanged views on the development of the military and political situation in the explosive region and stressed the need for a ceasefire in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone and a rapid de-escalation of the situation, the Foreign Ministry indicated on its official website.
The statement stressed that both Moscow and Amman call on all parties concerned to act with restraint to avoid catastrophic consequences for the entire Middle East.
The source added that the two sides also agreed to continue regular contacts on current issues on the bilateral and international agenda.
