“We received information from the Sudzha and Korenevo districts about the attempts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to penetrate the territory of the Kursk region, but we prevented them from violating the state border,” the governor wrote on Telegram.

Smirnov also referred to the appearance of information on social networks about the presence of Ukrainian forces in the region.

“I want to warn you that all kinds of rumors will appear in the next few hours. I urge you to trust official sources of information and disregard the actions of provocateurs,” the governor outlined.
