This formation, founded by deceased Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, condemned the recent airstrike on two schools in that coastal enclave, which left dozens of people dead and injured, most civilians, although Israel claims that those centers were used by Hamas militiamen.
In the face of such actions, the world must play its role and force Israel to stop the war on our people, the party affirmed.
Fatah criticized the systematic attacks on schools, shelters, hospitals, homes, places of worship in the Strip, which has been the target of a war campaign for more than 300 days.
The Movement called on the international community and human rights organizations to intervene to “stop the genocidal war on our people in Gaza and the West Bank.”
According to official statistics, more than 39,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since the outbreak of the new cycle of violence on October 7, while more than 600 have been killed in the West Bank.
