The active operations of the Center group of troops resulted in their entry into the Novoselovka-1 settlement in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the military body announced Sunday on its official Telegram page.
According to the source, the enemy lost up to 365 servicemen in the last day on the line of operations of the Center group, as well as one battle tank, two US-made М113 armored transports, 11 vehicles, several artillery pieces, one anti-tank gun, one counter-battery system and one electronic warfare system.
Added to these casualties were another 690 troops in the South group area of operations; 490, in the West group; 190, in the North group; 95, in the East group; and 75, in the Dnieper group, for a total of 1,905 during the last day.
Russian air defenses shot down one Ukrainian Air Force Su-27 fighter jet, 13 shells of the U.S.-made Himars multiple missile launcher, one of the RM-70 Vampire multiple rocket launcher and 162 unmanned aerial vehicles over the past day, the report stated.
