According to official sources, the two sides carried out exchanges and discussions, as well as command, skills, water, tactical coordination, and comprehensive anti-terrorism drills in a total of 27 activities distributed in seven categories.
In addition, sports competitions and artistic performances were also organized during the past two weeks.
As part of the joint anti-terrorism training “Cooperation-2024” this was the first time that China’s Armed Police Forces conducted bilateral training with the Mobile Police Unit of Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security.
According to Xinhua news agency, the aim was to strengthen the traditional friendship between the two countries, enhance mutual trust and cooperation, and improve joint counter-terrorism capabilities.
China has repeatedly declared its rejection of all forms of terrorism and has repeatedly urged the international community to work together to eliminate this problem.
