In the presence of the head of the Indian Government, Narendra Modi, and the visitor, delegations of the two countries coordinated the Action Plan of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for the 2024-2028 period.
They also signed memorandums of understanding for cooperation in the customs sector, as well as in agricultural research and education, as well as in the legal field, radio and television, medicinal plants and the development of the National Maritime Heritage Complex (NMHC) in Lothal, Gujarat.
The two governments agreed on a 300-million-dollar line of credit for maritime security, and initialed a letter of intent for the conservation and restoration of heritage sites in Vietnam’s Quang Nam province.
Vietnam also joined the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI), an organization in which India is permanent co-chair of the Governing Council.
The two prime ministers virtually inaugurated the Army Software Park at the University of Telecommunications in Nha Trang.
