IRNA informed that Khamenei led a prayer service before the coffin of the Palestinian leader and one of his bodyguards in the presence of President Masoud Pezeshkian and representatives of resistance movements.

Khalil al-Hayya, a high-ranking Hamas official in charge of foreign relations, affirmed that the blood of martyr Haniyeh leads to the path of the nation’s unity and resistance for the liberation of Palestine.

Al-Hayya renewed the commitment to the slogan of the political leader of the Palestinian movement of non-recognition of Israel.

The Islamic Republic declared three days of mourning.

In his message following the attack on Haniyeh, Khamenei reaffirmed the duty to avenge his blood as he was assassinated on Iranian soil.
