The Ministry informed that, during the drills, the units will work on combat readiness to use those arms

The missile units of the Southern and Central military districts will conduct combat training exercises to ready the munitions used by the Iskander-M systems, arming the TEL vehicles and advancing towards the positions designated for the simulated launches.

The Defense Ministry explained that the Aerospace Forces, involved in the exercise, will train in readying, and arming planes and departing towards designated patrol areas.

The Ministry pointed out that forces in the Leningrad Military District are practicing the covert deployment of Iskander tactical missile systems in their designated area, along with simulating missile launches against their objectives.
