Prensa Latina President Luis Enrique González met with VNA Deputy Director General Nguyen Tuan Hung and Secretariat and Foreign Relations Director Duong Duc Dung, at the Cuban media’s headquarters, and ratified the ties of friendship and cooperation that unite the two news agencies.

They discussed various joint projects to be developed within the framework of the 65th anniversary of relations between Vietnam and Cuba, which will be celebrated in 2025, as well as support on issues like technology and infrastructure.

The two executives also talked about Vietnam magazine, published by Prensa Latina and distributed throughout Latin America to make relevant aspects of the politics, society and culture of the Asian country known in the region.

The meeting took place as part of a visit to Cuba by the VNA delegation, which will last several days with an extensive program of events.
