The Ministry informed of a joint Russian-Chinese exercise at the maritime range of the Leningrad naval base, in the Gulf of Finland.

During the maneuvers, the crews searched for mines placed by a simulated enemy and destroyed them with artillery fire; they also practiced joint search and rescue operations, assisting a surface ship damaged in combat, and rescuing sailors overboard.

Rescue and first aid tasks were fulfilled during the training, the Russian Defense Ministry expressed.
