Boric and his accompanying delegation met with senior executives of Dubai Ports World, an Emirati company that operates several maritime terminals worldwide.
The Chilean president also held talks with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Board of Directors of the Future Foundation at the museum of the same name. He was received by the Emir of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum at the end of the day.
On Monday, Boric began visiting Abu Dhabi where he met with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Both presidents led the signing of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement that will allow the development of green energy and new opportunities for exports to the Middle East.
This is the first visit by a Chilean president to a country in the Persian Gulf region.
