In a first statement, the Lebanese political and military movement confirmed the firing of dozens of Katyusha rockets towards the Israeli site of Al-Baghdadi, in retaliation to the attack and assassination perpetrated by the enemy in the town of Shaqra.
As part of its response to this aggression in the southern region, Hizbullah also reported the launching of guided missiles towards the positions of Israeli soldiers at the site of al-Raheb, in the western sector of the border.
On the same date, Resistance weapons hit a technical spying system recently installed in the Israeli forces’ military position in Al-Malkiya.
Hizbulah lamented the death of fighters Abbas Mohammad Salami and Abbas Fadi Hijazi, whom it declared martyrs on the road to the liberation of Al-Quds (Jerusalem).
Due to Israeli threats to expand the conflict, its planes targeted on Monday the Lebanese towns of Shaqra, Kfarhamam, Aitaroun and Mays al-Jabal, besides dropping internationally banned phosphorous bombs on the outskirts of the village of Kafr Kila.
Tel Aviv’s army also fired bombs towards the Lebanese side in front of the village of Ghajar, which caused a fire.
In this context, Israeli media reported fires in the Upper Galilee following the fall of several rockets, and indicated that settlers were instructed to stay close to shelters in evacuated settlements in the Galilee area. ef/abo/mem/yma
