Hungarian Prime Minister criticizes EU’s warmongering policy

Budapest, 28 Jul (Prensa Latina) Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán today criticized what he considers to be the warmongering policy of the European Union (EU) regarding the war in Ukraine and the vindication of Christian nationalism.

During a speech this weekend in the town of Baile Tusnad, in Transylvania, he said that Brussels wants to achieve peace in kyev by supporting the war and, to do so, it even abandoned its own interests and followed the United States “at the cost of its self-destruction.”

The Prime Minister of Hungary, the country that holds the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union (EU), described as false the idea raised by the bloc that Russia is a rigid Stalinist autocracy and described his trip to Moscow as a peace mission.

He mentioned the existence of a new axis of power on the continent, since since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, France and Germany have lost strength to the “center of influence” made up of the United Kingdom, Poland and kyiv.
