During their stay, the Russian sailors will conduct activities, including courtesy visits to the head of the Revolutionary Navy, the capital’s governor, and places of historical and cultural interest.

The naval group will consist of the Smolniy training vessel, the patrol vessel Neustrahimiy, and the offshore oil tanker Yelnya.

According to a press release from the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR), these visits by naval units from other countries are a historical practice of the Cuban revolutionary Government with nations with which it maintains friendship and cooperation.

Residents in this capital city can visit the Smolny training ship on Sunday from 12:00 to 16:00 hours, local time, and Monday from 12:00 to 18:00 hours.
