Hai Ha, who is also the chairman of the Vietnam-Cuban Parliamentary Friendship Group, ratified the information during a meeting with the high-level delegation, led by Cuban National People’s Power Assembly (ANPP) President Esteban Lazo, who attended the funeral ceremonies of Vietnam’s supreme party leader, Nguyen Phu Trong.
The politician said the meeting will allow exchanging experiences on institutional and legislative work for the country’s socio-economic development, and a business forum to increase trade and investment.
We will make the necessary effort to maintain and strengthen the relations of fraternity and comprehensive cooperation with Cuba, for which the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), Nguyen Phu Trong, worked tirelessly, he stressed.
Hai Ha, who is also a member of the CPV Central Committee, stressed that the Vietnamese Party, the State, and the people will always be grateful for Cuba’s help during the war of liberation and in rebuilding the homeland, and affirmed, “We will reciprocate those gestures and move forward together.”
