Lack of international cooperation with Afghanistan criticized

Afganistan-canciller-1-1
Kabul, Jul 24 (Prensa Latina) Afghanistan's acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi today criticized the lack of international cooperation with the Islamic Emirate (Taliban government) in various sectors.

Speaking at the National Labor Conference, he called on countries to fulfill their responsibilities in creating employment opportunities in Afghanistan.

The international community is questioning us and making demands, asking about the status of narcotics, how they will be banned, how security will be ensured and how the use of Afghan territory by groups will be prevented. Their demands are so, but their cooperation is null.

We expect the international community to fulfill its responsibilities in this regard, he said.

Deputy Political Prime Minister Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, for his part, called for lifting the sanctions imposed on the officials of the Islamic Emirate, said the Taliban government is committed to solve all the problems of the people.

The National Labor Conference, organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, was held between Tuesday and Wednesday in Kabul with the aim of combating unemployment and poverty in the country.
