China-South Asia Expo focuses on common development

Kunming, China, Jul 24 (Prensa Latina) The 8th China-South Asia Expo opened in this city on Wednesday until July 28 with more than 2,000 participants from 82 countries, regions, and international organizations, focused on cooperation, unity, and common development. Organizers stated that almost half of the exhibitors are foreign companies, covering all South and Southeast Asian nations.

Vice Commerce Minister Li Fei announced that this edition will focus on the major economic and trade exchanges between China and the regional countries.

Li stated: “After more than ten years of development, the South China Expo has become a comprehensive exhibition platform that integrates merchandise trade, investment promotion, tourism cooperation, and cultural exchanges.”

The vice minister noted that the event enables “three platforms” yearly: policy exchanges, commodity trade, and investment cooperation.
