In a lengthy article, KCNA recalled that the US continues to deploy sophisticated military means in South Korea with the intention of dealing “a lethal blow” to Pyongyang, while on the other hand, hypocritically, it speaks about dialogue and open doors to negotiations.
It pointed out that the DPRK will not be seduced by “sweet talk” because it has learned over decades that the real intention of such statements is to break it and that, as the international community has seen, the US does not fulfill its commitments.
KCNA asserted that a new US administration should not be trusted to change things either, because in nearly 80 years of the DPRK’s existence, all administrations have practiced “the most hostile, brutal and obstinate policy” against the DPRK.
How could the DPRK believe in words like dialogue and negotiations when the US often dispatches its strategic nuclear assets and conducts frantic war exercises, including the nuclear option? It wondered.
Finally, it warned that, on the clock of present times, it depends entirely on the US behavior when the second hand will stop.
