Precipitation was accompanied by wind gusts of 35 kilometers per hour but at times exceeded 66 kilometers in some areas of this capital, where strangely in the first clearings of the morning there was a fluid traffic and not the usual traffic jams.
On Monday, the storms were accompanied by thunder and electrical activity over the metropolitan area of San Salvador, and in areas between the departments of Chalatenango and Cabañas, and to the northeast, due to a tropical wave from the eastern departments, extending towards the coastal area.
