Türkiye accuses Israeli minister of trying to hide crimes

Ankara, Jul 22 (Prensa Latina) The Government of Türkiye on Monday accused Israel's Foreign Minister Israel Katz of trying to hide crimes against Palestinians with lies and slander after his criticism of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The Israeli minister said on his X profile that the Turkish president financed and armed the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry stressed that Israel’s dirty propaganda and Tel Aviv’s attempts at psychological operations will not bear fruit.

It affirmed that the members of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Government, who are responsible for the death of 40,000 Palestinians in Gaza, are now trying to start a regional war to remain in power.

Therefore,” the government institution underscored in a statement on its website that “they will be tried in international courts and held accountable for their crimes.

It also stated that Türkiye will continue to defend the truth and the Palestinian people’s right to live in justice and peace.
