Russian security cuts off supply of explosives from Europe

Moscow, Jul 22 (Prensa Latina) The Federal Security Service (FSB) reported that it has cut off the supply of explosives and detonators from Europe to Russia.

As the security department announced to the press on Monday, the materials arrived in the country through Saint Petersburg, coming mainly from Italy and Germany.

The FSB also pointed out that the supplies were hidden in the cavities of automobile spare parts, since a large part of the vehicles imported by Russia come from the aforementioned countries.

It also reported that the relevant European intelligence services were requested to collaborate in identifying the organizers and accomplices to the imminent terrorist attacks, but these requests have not received a response to date.

Previously, the FSB thwarted a plot by the Ukrainian special services to attempt against the lives of three high-ranking military officers in Moscow.
