Wang Yulin, director general of the Bureau for Latin America and the Caribbean of the International Department of the Communist Party of China’s Central Committee, conveyed the political organization’s congratulations to the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN) on this anniversary.

“We are pleased to see that after 45 years, Nicaragua has achieved economic and social development and has steadily improved the people’s welfare,” Wang affirmed.

The official also stressed the importance of China-Nicaragua cooperation in the current international situation.

He said both countries share similar historical experiences, and understand that the revolution’s success, national dignity, and peace are not easily achieved.

Wang stressed, “In this new era, the Communist Party of China is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the FSLN, expand and deepen exchanges between the two parties, and play a good role in the political guidance of bilateral relations.”
