Mexico City, July 18 (Prensa Latina) The elected president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, announced today three members of her cabinet: the future Secretaries of Culture, Claudia Curiel de Icaza; Tourism, Josefina Rodríguez, and Labor and Social Security, Marath Baruch Bolaños.

During her presentation at the Interactive Museum of Economics, Sheinbaum defined them as “three brilliant young people” and said that Rodríguez, current head of the so-called industry without chimneys in the central state of Tlaxcala, will be “the youngest in the cabinet.”

When speaking at the event, Rodríguez expressed she will put all her commitment, loyalty and creativity into the purpose of developing tourism for all, so that indigenous peoples, artisans and communities of the 32 demarcations of the nation benefit from this industry.

Curiel de Icaza, a graduate in History from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, who serves as Secretary of Culture of this capital, highlighted her pride in being part of the movement “that puts people first, above particular interests.”

When speaking, Bolaños, head of the Ministry of Labor also in the current administration, highlighted that during the six-year term of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, initiatives were promoted for the benefit of the people, among them, the pension reform and the increase historic minimum wage.
