The lawmakers’ agenda on Thursday consists of debates on the audit of the Ministry of Food Industry and the accountability of the Ministry of Domestic Trade.
Participants will elect the lay judges for the Supreme People’s Court, the highest judicial authority in the country, which is accountable to the Assembly for the results of its work and has six chambers of justice.
Villa Clara’s government accountability plus the debate on the draft bill on Transparency and Access to Information are also scheduled for Thursday.
The evaluation of the opinion of the Constitutional and Legal Affairs and Education, Culture, Science, Technology and Environment commissions must close today’s agenda.
During the initial day on Wednesday, the parliamentarians debated the Government’s actions to revitalize the economy, the economic report on the first semester of the year and the report on the execution of the State budget for 2024, among other issues.
