The deputies will learn this Wednesday about the state of Cuba’s economy at the end of the first half of the year, and they will receive an update on the progress of the execution of the State budget for 2024 and the liquidation of the 2023 budget.
The Ministry of Internal Trade and the Provincial Government of Popular Power of Villa Clara will report to the legislative body during the sessions, which will last until July 20th.
As a prelude to the third regular period of sessions, since July 15th, the commissions of the National Assembly have been evaluating the functioning of Cuban organizations, the progress of processes in the economic field, the advancement of women, and the situation of transportation and housing.
This Tuesday, parliamentarians analyzed the policy for the Socialist State Enterprise Law.
The National Assembly of People’s Power is integrated by over 400 deputies and is the highest Cuban legislative body.
