According to ministry officials, the aid will address the challenges of internally displaced people and migrants who return from countries like Pakistan and Iran.

Khalil Rahman Haqqani, acting head of the Refugees and Repatriation Department, said that China’s assistance has been categorized according to the ministry’s acute needs and consists of ambulances, cargo vehicles, water tankers and tents.

I appreciate China’s assistance and ask other international aid organizations and neighbors and countries from all over the world to cooperate with us in this area, Haqqani said.

Chinese Ambassador in Kabul Zhao Xing, in turn, emphasized the continuation of humanitarian aid and the development of cooperation between Afghanistan and China.
