In a press release on Monday, the official denounced the bombardment of a United Nations school in the Nuseirat refugee camp on Sunday, as a result of which 15 people were killed and dozens were injured.
On Saturday, 90 citizens lost their lives and more than 300 were injured in a similar attack on an allegedly safe area in the south of the Gaza Strip.
“These crimes are the result of a lack of international pressure on the right-wing government of Israel,” said Fattouh, who called on the United Nations and international organizations to protect the rights of women and minors.
The Palestinian leader held the White House responsible “for the thousands of victims who die and are injured every day by US-made weapons and smart bombs in the Gaza Strip.”
He also criticized Washington’s logistical, political and diplomatic support for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
