Havana, Jul 15 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel is participates in the debates of the Permanent Labor Commissions (CPT) of the National People's Power Assembly (Parliament), scheduled for Monday and Tuesday in Havana.

Some 11 CTPs from the ANPP will analyze more than 90 topics of interest to citizens at Havana’s International Conference Center, after an intense stage of tours and meetings with labor groups.

About 1,000 workplaces, institutions and communities were visited by the members of these parliamentary structures, in visits to the territories together with Cuban lawmakers.

The Parliament and its CPTs continually check compliance with their guidelines and decisions, National Assembly Secretary Homero Acosta said in a recent press conference.

Acosta assured that the 3rd Ordinary Session of the 10th Legislature will have a busy agenda in the legal field, due to the quantity and quality of the regulations to be debated and the transcendence of the economic issues for national life.

He noted that the bills on Citizenship, Migration, and Foreigners; Administrative Procedure, Transparency, and Access to Public Information; and the System of Honorary Titles and Decorations will be debated during the meeting.

The lawmakers will also analyze the draft bill on the socialist state enterprise law, which will be submitted for debate in the future.

Acosta noted that Prime Minister Manuel Marrero will explain to the lawmakers the progress being made in implementing measures to correct distortions and revive the economy.
