Cuba-Asamblea-Parlamento-Banderas-VME-1
Havana, Jul 15 (Prensa Latina) The permanent commissions of the Cuban Parliament will meet for two days before the beginning of the 3rd Ordinary Session of its 10th Legislature on Wednesday.

National Assembly Secretary Homero Acosta stated that all 11 Permanent Working Commissions (CPT) of Cuba’s National People’s Power Assembly (ANPP) are analyzing some 90 issues of interest to the citizens after tours and exchanging opinions with workers.

Acosta informed that the CTP members and municipal and provincial lawmakers visited more than 1,000 workplaces, institutions, and municipalities.

“The ANPP and its CPTs are constantly monitoring the implementation of their guidelines and decisions,” the national assembly secretary added.

Acosta assured that the 3rd Ordinary Session of the 10th Legislature will have a busy agenda in the legal field, due to the quantity and quality of the regulations to be debated and the transcendence of the economic issues for national life.

He noted that the bills on Citizenship, Migration, and Foreigners; Administrative Procedure, Transparency, and Access to Public Information; and the System of Honorary Titles and Decorations will be debated during the meeting.

The lawmakers will also analyze the draft bill on the socialist state enterprise law, which will be submitted for debate in the future.

Acosta noted that Prime Minister Manuel Marrero will explain to the lawmakers the progress being made in implementing measures to correct distortions and revive the economy.
