According to the statement, the circumstances described “not only keep Austria’s economy stagnant, but caused a record number of business bankruptcies in the last 15 years and growth by 35.35 percent compared to the previous year”.
During the first six months of 2023, the AKV recalled, the opening of new insolvency cases totaled 1,550 files; Furthermore, in that period, 1,123 procedures of a similar nature were completed.
