According to Ryzhenkov, Belarus is willing to hold dialogue; however, Poland is not very interested in solving this problem and plans to continue to increase tension along the border, BelTA news agency reported.
The foreign minister explained that Belarus has always been committed to the approach of building cross-border cooperation.
“According to these approaches, we have always offered cooperation to the Polish side to resolve any problems that may arise on the borders between the two states, but they, under various pretexts, avoid implementing the proposals,”,the official added.
Ryzhenkov recalled that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko had said recently that he was willing to receive any Polish delegation and all Polish experts to examine the situation on the border together, but Warsaw has rejected the offer.
Prior to that, Poland prohibited the passage of trucks from Belarus through the Kozlovichi border checkpoint.
