Local sources told the media that, since the early Monday morning, the M23 simultaneously attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of the DRC and the local armed groups in the territory of Masisi; while in places such as the Bahunde headquarters, detonations of heavy weapons were heard.
The bomb incident occurred around 08:00 local time when a shell fired from the combat zone fell on civilian houses in Bweremana, killing three people, all children of the same family.
Another minor was wounded.
