Kirill Budanov, one of the chiefs of the Ukrainian Government, publicly confessed that the Ukrainian intelligence service was preparing the Russian president’s assassination.
These preparations were carried out with US money, without which there would be no activities by the General Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, the Security Service, or the presidential office on Bankovaya Street, Zakharova posted on her Telegram channel. Budanov, who heads Ukraine’s military intelligence, said in an interview with the digital newspaper NV on Saturday that his country’s secret services had made several unsuccessful attempts at killing Putin.
Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov, in turn, noted that the Russian president’s security was “duly guaranteed.”
