We strongly condemn any demonstration of violence in the political struggle, Peskov told reporters, adding that Russia also expresses its condolences to the family of the deceased and wishes a speedy recovery for those injured.

In response to a question, he noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin has no plans to hold a phone conversation with Trump.

Peskov added that Russian authorities do not believe that the attack to kill Trump was orchestrated by the current administration, but it did create the political struggles around the candidate and an atmosphere that caused what the United States is currently going through.

The Kremlin representative noted that, voluntarily or involuntarily, the Joe Biden administration has transferred to the domestic policy the methods that it is accustomed to using on the international arena, which resulted in a “style of violent decisions.”
