Party groups, military circles, and grass-roots organizations at several levels reported the incidents in Jangphung county, North Hwanghae province, and 17 other adjacent areas.

Kim informed that military units at different levels, the Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Armies, and public and state security forces along the border with the Republic of Korea are conducting a general search.

The perpetrators of such acts will be dealt with “following the circumstances,” she added.
