Venezuelan president ratifies national dialogue by decree

Maduro1-1
Caracas, Jul 11 (Prensa Latina) Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro ratified the willingness to build consensus by calling for great dialogue with the participation of all actors that make up the national sociopolitical spectrum.

On Wednesday night, Maduro stated that if he won on July 28, he would sign his first decree to call for great national economic, social, political and cultural dialogue.

The president indicated that the purpose is to “unite the criteria of all Venezuelans” to think about the future of the Bolivarian Republic, and assured that “only we can do it, because we do not hate and we deeply love life.”

The president stated that after the July 28 elections there will be more changes and transformations in the country, and assured that he is mentally and physically prepared “to begin a great stage and bring peace, stability and national unity to Venezuela. The only ones who can guarantee peace and an independent project of growth and renewal of the country are us,” he stated.

Regarding the violent plans announced by the extreme right wing, the president asserted that no one “is going to steal our right to peace. We have an appointment with the country, with history, with our family,” he said, and called on the people of Barinas to ensure peace in light of the great victory of “that blessed night.”

Maduro pointed out that the people of Barinas will not fail Commander Hugo Chávez (1954-2013), and emphasized that the victory on July 28 will be a tribute and gift on Chávez’s 70th birthday.
