At a meeting in Islamabad, Iqbal met with the competent authorities to review the status of agreements related to education, agriculture and transportation.
Training 200,000 Pakistani students by Huawei, according to the domestic needs and the preparation of university laboratories for training, the study plans in China for 1,000 agricultural professionals and the reconversion of the operation of more than a million diesel-fed tube wells into solar energy were part of the topics of the meeting.
Participants also learned about the fulfillment of agreements and memorandums of understanding related to transportation, such as the Realignment of Phase II of the 241 kilometer-long KKH (Thakot-Raikot) highway.
Iqbal expressed interest in the Digital Pakistan Initiative, indicated the preparation of a comprehensive national strategy, and expressed his hope that the results of the training in the area of agriculture will be reflected in a significant improvement in the experience and productivity of the sector in Pakistan.
