The head of the ACRN, Rafael Ruiz, described the US Government as hypocritical, since they keep Cuba on the States Sponsoring Terrorism list, when they are the ones financing these mercenary groups to attack the country.

“It is publicly known in the US that they train them in Florida, arm them in Florida and finance them and want to introduce them in Cuba to destabilize the Government,” Ruiz stressed. This is related to the most recent revelations about projects to perpetrate terrorist actions in the Cuba, organized in South Florida. A Cuban television program published on Monday presented the results of an investigation by the Interior Ministry, which led to the capture of Ardenys Garcia Alvarez, 40, who illegally migrated to the United States in 2014 and smuggled weapons and ammunition into Cuba by sea.

According to what was known, the goal was to recruit people to carry out terrorist actions and destabilize the country.

The ACRN representative recalled that this year alone the United States donated over USD$ 20 million to finance subversion against Cuba.

He alluded to Cuba’s solidarity and exemplified with the medical brigades that arrive in various parts of the world sharing the little they have and not what they have to spare, so that later Washington comes to “include Cuba in a States Sponsoring Terrorism list when the United States is the one sowing terror.”
