Nicaraguans approve by 82.4 percent Daniel Ortega´s management

Managua, July 10 (Prensa Latina) 82.4 percent of the Nicaraguan population approves of the management of the Government led by President Daniel Ortega, a report from the polling company M&R Consultores revealed today.

According to the public opinion study corresponding to the second quarter of 2024, 91.8 percent of those surveyed assured the Executive guarantees them hope, while 7.8 percent expressed the opposite.

The survey showed that 83.2 percent of those interviewed consider that the Government of the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN) is leading the nation in the right direction, while 80.1 percent indicated that President Daniel Ortega seeks unity and reconciliation among Nicaraguans.

The survey, which was carried out using the technique of face-to-face interviews with a universe of four million 705 thousand 192 people, also highlighted that on a scale of one to 10, the satisfaction index of Nicaraguans in relation to the different services offered the Executive to guarantee the well-being of the population, is 8.73 percent.

In this sense, the information specifies that, with respect to intercity transportation services, road maintenance, public lighting and home electricity, the satisfaction marker is between 8.73 and 8.87 percent. Regarding public health services, drinking water, education, security and job opportunities, the index ranges between 8.62 and 8.89 percent.

On the other hand, the study revealed that the index of political approval towards the FSLN is 85.2 percent, while that of the opposition is 10.2.

Along these lines, 84.9 percent of the population surveyed considered that the FSLN generates hope, 85.2 percent calm, and 85.4 percent security.

The report also highlighted the importance that Nicaraguans attach to peace (93.1 percent), which is why they highlighted the need not to put at risk, under any circumstances, the economic and social stability of the country.
