This is the first bombing of this military target, which houses a key monitoring center, since Israel began its war in the Gaza Strip, the Lebanese movement reported.
The facility has been used for decades for surveillance, espionage and air defense on Mount Hermon and for monitoring operations in Syria, Iraq, Jordan and parts of Saudi Arabia.
Hezbollah clarified that its attack was in response to Israel’s assassination of Hezbollah commander Maytham Al-Attar during a hostile air raid on his car in the village of Shaath in Lebanon’s Baalbek region.
The Lebanese resistance claims that its attacks constitute a response to Israeli genocide and assures that it will continue its actions until the war of extermination in Gaza is stopped.
