The series of thematic programs, under the title Laboratorium, will be translated into four languages and will showcase the achievements by university and academic science, as well as the progress of successful scientific and technological companies, and will reveal the image of contemporary scientists.
After being broadcast in Russia, the Laboratorium series will be dubbed into English, Chinese, Portuguese and Spanish. It will also be broadcast through TVBRICS media partners around the world.
The project presents cutting-edge research that shapes the future and creates a platform for scientific and technological cooperation among the BRICS plus countries, according to the head of the Department of Thematic Broadcasting and Special Media Projects of TVBRICS, Ivan Zakharchenko.
The international dissemination of Laboratorium will make it a tool to promote the image of Russia as a technologically progressive country and one of the world leaders in training and supporting scientific specialists, the expert added.
The series consists of 13 13-minute-long episodes dedicated to a single discovery and the researcher or group of scientists behind it. The program format involves an accessible explanation of the most complex breakthroughs in a simple language and through clear associations.
In addition, the project presenter generated by artificial intelligence helps to understand the topic.
Laboratorium covers various topics such as trends in medical research, new methods of treating and diagnosing diseases, drug development, drones, intelligent transportation systems, artificial intelligence, quantum computing and technologies for sustainable agriculture.
