Modi will then travel to Austria for an agenda on July 9 and 10, marking the first visit by an Indian prime minister to Austria in 41 years.
There, the head of the Indian government will hold talks with President Alexander Van der Bellen and Chancellor Karl Nehammer.
The Indian dignitary and the Austrian Foreign Minister will also address business leaders of the two countries.
Modi will also meet members of the Indian community in Moscow and Vienna.
India and Russia have time-tested, stable and resilient relations and continue to be characterized by the spirit of the Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership.
That bond has remained strong based on strategic convergences, geopolitical interests and mutually beneficial cooperation, Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyan Jaishankar noted during an extensive visit to Russia in December 2023.
Together with Brazil, China and South Africa, the two countries are founding members of the Brics, a bloc that promotes a development model with policies to eradicate hunger and poverty on a global scale.
