Argentina sends condolences to nations affected by hurricane Beryl

Buenos Aires, Jul 4 (Prensa Latina) The Argentine Foreign Ministry today sent its condolences to Grenada and St. Vincent and the Grenadines for the damages caused by hurricane Beryl.

Grenada is one of the countries most affected by the cyclone with three deaths and a situation of calamity in the islands of Carriacou and Petite Martinique, which received the direct impact of the weather system.

St. Vincent and the Grenadines, another devastated territory, reported one death, while the worst scenario is being faced in Union Island, where 90 percent of the buildings are on the ground.

The Republic of Argentina expresses its condolences for the tragic consequences caused by the passage of Beryl, according to a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry.

Our country expresses its solidarity with the sister nations of the Caribbean and extends its wishes for a speedy recovery to all the injured and affected families, adds the statement.
