The official wrote on his Telegram channel that the World Bank has just moved Russia from the category of upper-middle-income countries to that of high-income countries, and this change in categorization demonstrates how ineffective the anti-Russia sanctions have been.
“The Western measures against Russia have turned out to be a complete fiasco for their promoters,” Ulyanov summarized.

The Bank classifies as high-income countries those states where this indicator is set at a minimum of 13,845 dollars.
